Payment and Cancellation Policy
Mystic Crane Travel is committed to ensuring transparency and fairness in all transactions. Please read our Payment and Cancellation Policies carefully, including the exclusions that may apply.
Payment Policy
a. Booking Confirmation
To confirm your booking, a 50% deposit of the total package cost is required at the time of reservation.
b. Full Payment
The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to the start of your trip.
c. Late Bookings
For bookings made within 30 days of travel, full payment is required at the time of
booking.
d. Payment Methods
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or secure online payment
gateways (details provided upon confirmation).
e. Bank Charges
The client must bear all bank or transaction charges.
f. Non-Payment: Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in the
cancellation of your booking without a refund of the deposit.


Payment Exclusions
Payment does not include:
• Personal expenses such as souvenirs, phone calls, or extra services not mentioned
in the itinerary.
• International flight tickets unless explicitly included in the package.
• Travel insurance (clients are recommended to arrange this independently).
Cancellation Policy
More than 30 days before arrival: Refund of the deposit minus a 10% administrative fee and non-refundable items.
15–30 days before arrival: 50% of the total package cost will be refunded, excluding non-refundable items.
Less than 15 days before arrival: No refund. No-show or early departure: No refund.
If we cancel your trip for reasons within our control, a full refund will be provided,excluding client-initiated non-refundable additions.
No refund will be provided for cancellations due to:
• Failure to comply with Bhutan’s visa or travel requirements.
• Missed international flights leading to a delayed arrival.
• Weather conditions or natural disasters beyond our control.
• Government-imposed restrictions or emergencies.
In the event of unforeseeable circumstances such as natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or other force majeure events, we will work with you to reschedule your trip. Refunds may not be possible but will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
a. Date Changes
More than 15 days before arrival: Rescheduling is free, subject to availability.
Less than 15 days before arrival: Rescheduling fees may apply based on vendor charges.
b. Exclusions in Rescheduling
Rescheduling may not be possible for time-sensitive events such as festivals, exclusive bookings, or limited-availability permits.
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after approval.
Refunds will be issued via the original payment method, minus any applicable administrative fees and non-refundable costs.
Non-Refundable Items
Costs associated with the following are non-refundable once booked:
• Bhutanese tourist visas and permits.
• Festival or event tickets.
• Prepaid hotel reservations.
• Third-party transportation services, including domestic flights.
Important Notes
Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and delays.
Responsibility for Travel Delays: Mystic Crane Travel is not liable for missed flights, connections, or delays caused by airlines or other external factors.
